Distinguished Platform Solutions Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop the comprehensive architecture for agent-driven software delivery, the developer portal, and the regulated AI marketplace.

• Create reference implementations for agent orchestration, AI governance, Knowledge Graph integration, and agent-empowered golden paths.

• Establish the internal AI architecture to facilitate governed model access, policy enforcement, and usage management across developer AI tools and agents.

• Set platform standards for SDKs, connectors, MCP servers, plugins, agents, and marketplace contributions.

• Collaborate with Security Engineering on SLSA provenance, SBOMs, policy-as-code, and AI supply chain controls.

• Integrate CI/CD, cloud landing zones, Backstage, and AI functionalities into a unified secure developer platform.

• Make technical decisions that encompass platform, AI, security, and business unit engineering teams.

• Communicate the platform's technical vision to senior leaders, engineering teams, and external industry stakeholders.

• Report directly to the EVP of Developer Experience & AI Tooling.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in technology.

• 3+ years in a Senior Architect position or a similar technical leadership role.

• Recent hands-on experience in developing developer platforms and AI-centric engineering systems.

• Proven experience in designing and managing enterprise-scale internal developer platforms.

• Experience in building CI/CD pipelines, golden paths, and cloud-native landing zones.

• Practical experience with agent orchestration, agent workflows, and SDLC agents.

• Familiarity with enterprise retrieval, grounding, Knowledge Graphs, and prompt and context engineering.

• Experience in integrating AI tools through MCP servers, connectors, APIs, or similar frameworks.

• Knowledge of implementing SLSA, SBOMs, policy-as-code, and secure software supply chain practices.
