Distinguished Platform Solutions Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Design the complete architecture for agentic software delivery, the developer portal, and the regulated AI marketplace.

• Create reference implementations for agent orchestration, AI governance, Knowledge Graph grounding, and agent-enabled golden paths.

• Develop an internal AI architecture to facilitate governed model access, enforce policies, and control usage across AI tooling and agents for developers.

• Establish platform standards for SDKs, connectors, MCP servers, plugins, agents, and contributions to the marketplace.

• Collaborate with the Security Engineering team on SLSA provenance, SBOMs, policy-as-code, and controls for the AI supply chain.

• Integrate CI/CD, cloud landing zones, Backstage, and AI capabilities into a cohesive and secure developer platform.

• Make technical decisions that affect platform, AI, security, and engineering teams across business units.

• Articulate the technical direction of the platform to senior leaders, engineering teams, and external industry stakeholders.

• Report directly to the EVP of Developer Experience & AI Tooling.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in technology.

• At least 3 years in a Senior Architect position or a similar technical leadership role.

• Recent hands-on experience in building developer platforms and AI-native engineering systems.

• Proven experience in designing and managing enterprise-scale internal developer platforms.

• Experience in constructing CI/CD pipelines, golden paths, and cloud-native landing zones.

• Practical experience with agent orchestration, agentic workflows, and SDLC agents.

• Familiarity with enterprise retrieval, grounding, Knowledge Graphs, and prompt and context engineering.

• Experience in integrating AI tools via MCP servers, connectors, APIs, or similar frameworks.

• Knowledge of implementing SLSA, SBOMs, policy-as-code, and practices for secure software supply chains.
