📋 Description

• Spearhead Acumatica’s next phase of evolution in the AI landscape

• Oversee organization-wide transformation efforts focusing on AI-enhanced product innovation and engineering efficiency

• Collaborate with leaders in platform, AI/ML, product, and application engineering to expedite AI integration

• Shape the approach Acumatica takes in developing and delivering software in the AI era

• Promote the use of AI throughout products and workflows

• Define and expand AI-driven product functionalities

• Guide application teams in leveraging AI components, orchestration infrastructure, and platform services

• Influence application architecture, design patterns, and engineering practices to facilitate scalable AI adoption

• Identify and implement impactful AI scenarios for customers

• Revolutionize the engineering lifecycle through AI-assisted development methodologies

• Recognize opportunities to enhance productivity, engineering quality, and delivery efficiency via AI

• Foster modern engineering practices among business analysis, development, and QA teams

• Transform the design, construction, testing, and maintenance of software at scale

• Define and influence the long-term strategy for AI and engineering transformation

• Assess emerging technologies, industry trends, and competitive movements

• Align technical strategy with customer needs and business objectives

• Provide practical technical guidance, architectural leadership, and mentorship

• Align stakeholders, build consensus, and drive execution across organizational boundaries

• Represent Acumatica in external engagements with customers, partners, analysts, and at industry events and conferences

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related field

• Over 15 years of experience in software engineering

• Extensive experience in leading large-scale technical projects within SaaS or cloud-based enterprise software environments

• Proven track record of delivering and productizing AI/ML capabilities in enterprise applications

• Strong background in enterprise application architecture

• Experience in driving engineering transformation initiatives, including modern software development practices and AI-assisted engineering workflows

• Demonstrated ability to influence across organizations, align senior stakeholders, and lead complex projects without direct authority

• Deep technical credibility with a capacity to operate strategically while remaining hands-on when necessary

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

• Experience in fast-paced product organizations is a plus

• Background in partnerships, acquisitions, or ecosystem strategy within the AI/ML sector is a plus
