This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
β’ Leverage your medical knowledge to perform comprehensive evaluations of clinical cases.
β’ Review medical documentation and create clinical summaries.
β’ Participate in peer discussions and respond to specific inquiries from clients.
β’ A current and unrestricted medical license in Massachusetts is essential.
β’ Board Certification in Colorectal Surgery is required.
β’ Experience in conducting Disability Peer Reviews is preferred but not mandatory.
β’ A minimum of 5 years of clinical practice or active engagement in the field is necessary.
β’ The independent consultant position provides flexibility in scheduling and predictable working hours. You have the autonomy to choose services and case types, dictate your workload, and conduct work based on your available schedule.
β’ There is no establishment of a doctor/patient relationship, and no treatment is administered. The role provides advisory-only opinions.
