This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Developing and implementing a thorough channel strategy for cytisinicline, engaging with distribution partners to guarantee optimal product availability and patient access while achieving targeted market penetration.
• Assisting in the design and execution of the trade and distribution elements of the launch roadmap, which includes channel planning and tactical execution.
• Keeping abreast of changes in policy and the distribution landscape relevant to trade, providing leadership with insights on trends and dynamics affecting distribution strategy.
• Leading negotiations with distribution partners concerning pricing, data, and service contracts, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives, market penetration, and patient access needs.
• Establishing and monitoring key performance indicators for trade partners, ensuring adherence to service standards and consistent patient accessibility.
• Building and sustaining robust working relationships with wholesalers, specialty distributors, and specialty pharmacies to guarantee reliable supply and service.
• Collaborating on the creation and management of patient support programs, ensuring alignment with trade strategy and distribution operations.
• Working together with Legal and Compliance to uphold adherence to regulatory standards and corporate policies across all trade activities.
• Leading and nurturing trade operations talent, promoting a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence.
• Collaborating with Commercial Operations to enhance data flows and track key metrics, using insights to inform strategic decision-making and foster continuous improvement within the channel strategy.
• A Bachelor’s degree in science, business, or a related field; an advanced degree such as an MBA is preferred.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in trade, distribution, or a related commercial role within the biopharmaceutical industry, including at least 3 years in oncology or another specialty therapeutic area with expertise in channel strategy and distributor contracting.
• Familiarity with the U.S. specialty distribution landscape, encompassing wholesalers, specialty distributors, and specialty pharmacy channels.
• Proven experience in supporting or leading trade and distribution operations for a U.S. specialty pharmaceutical or biotech product launch.
