This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and continually enhance the go-to-market strategy for the Payer and Public Sector segments, focusing on market prioritization, competitive positioning, and solution packaging.
• Convert extensive domain expertise in payer operations, Medicaid managed care, Medicare Advantage, and government health programs into actionable strategies and persuasive narratives for prospects and internal stakeholders.
• Detect opportunities, emerging policy trends, and changes in the competitive environment that inform both immediate pipeline activities and long-term product investments.
• Act as the chief subject matter expert and executive-level consultant across deals of various sizes, from initial pipeline development to major enterprise pursuits.
• Collaborate with Sales leaders on consultative discovery with prospects and customers; assist in defining value pathways and solution strategies customized to each buyer’s specific business priorities and challenges.
• Engage directly with C-suite and senior-level client representatives to establish credibility, strengthen relationships, and position Innovaccer as a dependable strategic partner.
• Create content, presentations, ROI models for deals, RFP, RFI responses, etc., ensuring that responses maintain both technical precision and strategic differentiation.
• Formulate the internal business case for new product investments, roadmap priorities, and go-to-market adjustments by synthesizing client feedback, deal insights, and market intelligence.
• Work alongside Product teams on solution positioning, roadmap contributions, and the development of value propositions for key solution areas, including data & analytics, AI, population health, care management, risk adjustment, quality management (HEDIS), utilization management, member engagement, and value-based care.
• Collaborate with Marketing on thought leadership content, conference strategies, and the creation of segment-specific materials.
• Coordinate efforts across Sales, Legal, Finance, Customer Success, and technical subject matter experts to ensure deal teams have the necessary materials and context to succeed.
• Lead, nurture, and motivate a team of Growth Strategy professionals who produce presentations, RFP responses, and marketing materials in support of the sales process.
• Mentor team members on strategic thinking, messaging quality, and cross-functional effectiveness; create development pathways that cultivate both tactical expertise and long-term strategic capabilities.
• Set the benchmark for subject matter expertise and client-centric storytelling within the team.
• Represent Innovaccer at industry conferences, panels, and client events as a recognized authority on payer and government health strategy.
• Contribute to and review thought leadership content, white papers, and point-of-view materials that distinguish Innovaccer in the marketplace.
• Enhance Innovaccer’s visibility with key stakeholders in the Commercial, Medicaid, Medicare Advantage, and public sector health ecosystem.
• Over 10 years of progressive experience in healthcare strategy, with significant experience on the payer or government side — as an operator, consultant, or senior vendor executive.
• Profound, hands-on understanding of payer business models, managed care operations, Medicaid and Medicare Advantage market dynamics, and/or state and federal government health programs.
• Familiarity with Utilization Management, Risk, Quality, Coding, Attribution, and Payer platforms.
• Proven ability to effectively engage at the C-suite level, both in client-facing roles and as an internal influencer.
• Strong analytical and strategic skillset: ability to frame complex challenges, develop persuasive business cases, and synthesize market intelligence into actionable recommendations.
• Experience in supporting or leading enterprise sales pursuits, including RFP/RFI responses, executive presentations, and solution design.
• Established track record of fostering productive cross-functional relationships in matrixed, dynamic organizations.
• Experience managing and developing teams; a coaching mindset and commitment to developing others.
