Director, Utilization Management – Hospice CoE

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.

📋 Description

• Responsible for the enterprise strategy, clinical governance, and operational implementation of hospice and palliative care identification, referral, and utilization management.

• Leads the utilization management team to ensure the correct application of policy procedures and processes.

• Oversees and manages Utilization Operations related to the daily functions of Utilization Management.

• Guides the utilization management team on performance, improvement, and career development opportunities.

• Establishes policies and procedures that integrate best practices and ensure thorough utilization reviews of members.

• Formulates utilization management strategies and shapes decisions by offering recommendations that align with organizational goals.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree and over 7 years of relevant experience are required.

• RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure is highly preferred.

• A minimum of 4 years of management experience is preferred.

• In-depth knowledge of industry regulations, policies, and standards is preferred.

• Experience in creating pivot tables is a must.
