
Director, Transaction Advisory Services – Financial Due Diligence

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee financial due diligence projects for private equity sponsors, lenders, and corporate acquirers, both on the buy-side and sell-side.
• Lead quality of earnings evaluations, net working capital reviews, identification of debt and debt-like items, and cash flow analyses.
• Manage the execution of engagements, including defining scope, designing work plans, managing request lists, overseeing timelines, and delivering milestones.
• Recognize and escalate potential transaction risks and considerations related to deals.
• Create and review financial due diligence reports that include actionable insights.
• Act as the main point of contact for clients on a daily basis, collaborating with private equity deal teams, lenders, management, and external advisors.
• Conduct management interviews and diligence discussions.
• Present findings and key considerations related to deals to relevant stakeholders.
• Build and enhance client relationships.
• Supervise and review the contributions of Vice Presidents, Senior Associates, and Associates.
• Provide immediate feedback and structured coaching.
• Engage in recruitment, training, and professional development activities.
• Involve in business development, proposal support, and initiatives aimed at firm-wide growth.
• Assist in developing TAS intellectual capital, templates, sector-specific strategies, and methodologies.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in financial due diligence within a Big 4 TAS or Deals practice, a national advisory firm, or a similar transaction advisory setting.
• Proven experience in leading quality of earnings assessments, net working capital evaluations, and comprehensive financial due diligence engagements with minimal oversight.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP as applicable in transaction scenarios, including EBITDA normalization, working capital mechanics, debt and debt-like structuring, and considerations for purchase agreements.
• Extensive industry exposure in middle-market transactions across sectors such as manufacturing, distribution, business services, technology, and consumer goods.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and adept at working with large, complex datasets under tight deal-driven deadlines.
• CPA designation preferred (either active or eligible).
