This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Spearhead the design, execution, and continuous management of the trade, distribution, and contract operations framework to support the company’s inaugural commercial product launch.
• Create and supervise processes related to government and commercial contracts, chargebacks, rebates, fees, and distribution operations.
• Work in collaboration with Market Access, Finance, Supply Chain, Legal, Compliance, Patient Services, and external trading partners to achieve operational excellence.
• Formulate and oversee trade operations strategies that facilitate product launch and commercialization.
• Lead and manage operational relationships with wholesalers, specialty distributors, specialty pharmacies, and various channel partners.
• Supervise processes for product distribution, inventory oversight, order-to-cash activities, and channel data reporting.
• Partner with Finance to aid in gross-to-net forecasting, accrual development, and revenue recognition tasks.
• Provide operational guidance on Medicaid, Medicare, 340B, Federal Supply Schedule, and other applicable government contracting programs.
• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, specialty pharmaceutical, or healthcare sectors.
• At least 5+ years of experience in trade operations, contract operations, market access operations, gross-to-net management, or similar commercial roles.
• Proven experience in facilitating pharmaceutical product launches and commercialization efforts.
• In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical distribution channels, specialty pharmacy, wholesalers, chargebacks, rebates, and contract management.
• Experience collaborating with third-party trade and contract operations vendors and technology solutions.
• Strong analytical, financial, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex cross-functional projects and stakeholder relationships effectively.
• Preferred experience in a small or emerging biotechnology company environment.
• Preferred experience in establishing trade and contract operations infrastructure for a first product launch.
• Familiarity with government pricing programs, 340B, Medicaid Drug Rebate Program, and associated compliance obligations is preferred.
• Preferred experience in gross-to-net forecasting, accrual management, and revenue analytics.
• Experience in implementing contract management, revenue management, or trade operations systems is preferred.
• Approximately 15–30% travel for partner meetings, vendor management, industry conferences, and internal business meetings.
