This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nebraska, +2 more states.
• Partner with the Client Relations team to address Trade-related inquiries, initiatives, and opportunities with Participants.
• Communicate with health plan participants about rebate and formulary strategies and policies.
• Oversee medical and pharmacy clinical policies with Participants to guarantee compliance with manufacturer contracts.
• Collaborate with the Client Relations team on Trade-related queries from Participants.
• Act as the primary point of contact for Participant inquiries related to Trade initiatives and manufacturer contracts.
• Elevate issues to Trade leadership as necessary.
• Work with Analytics to analyze drug trends, utilization data, clinical policy decisions, formulary compliance, drug share shifts, and utilization management strategies.
• Coordinate with the Clinical team to evaluate clinical data and policy requirements.
• Maintain an organized library of Participant medical and pharmacy policies.
• Assist the Invoicing team with manufacturer inquiries concerning clinical policies.
• Provide medical policy support for contracts related to manufacturers, including cell and gene therapies and outcomes programs.
• Develop and maintain cross-functional partnerships to create and implement rebate programs.
• Facilitate clinical decision-making at the Participant level to ensure adherence to manufacturer contracts.
• A Pharmacy degree and PharmD is preferred.
• 5–7 years of relevant experience in healthcare, pharmacy benefit management (PBM), utilization management, pharmaceutical contracting, client relations, or analytical contracting.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without requiring a work visa or residency sponsorship.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Capability to establish rapport and cultivate relationships across all levels of the organization.
• Practical application of clinical data to generate financial value.
• Strong business and financial insight.
• Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Understanding of PBM operations, drug management strategies, and policy implementation.
• Experience in reading and interpreting pharmaceutical manufacturer contracts.
• Background in aligning contract terms with utilization management policies and criteria.
• Pharmacy residency training or equivalent experience.
• Experience within the PBM industry, as well as Medicaid, Medicare, and health plans.
• Familiarity with contract language and risk mitigation concepts.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
