Director, Technical Services – Latin America and the Caribbean

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Develop strategies and designs for data migration that can be executed by FreeBalance Technical Consultants at client sites.

• Create tools and models for the installation and deployment of the FreeBalance Accountability Suite that can be utilized for project implementations.

• Work closely with the Research and Development Team to design interface components during the execution of the FreeBalance Accountability Suite.

• Partner with Technical and Functional Consultants to develop the training curriculum for customer delivery.

• Oversee the daily operations of the team.

• Collaborate with Project Managers to plan the system rollout for decentralized operations.

• Manage the Operations & Maintenance team in the EMEA region and provide oversight to remote teams globally.

• Oversee technical tools and innovate new resources for use by Technical Consultants.

• Develop scalable models for the implementation of the FreeBalance Accountability Suite at Data Centres and Disaster Recovery Sites hosting the software.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency, quality, and timeliness of customer deliveries, internal policies, and communications.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Extensive travel is required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology.

• Demonstrated experience in reviewing and developing Support and Maintenance policies and procedures.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience successfully managing a globally dispersed Services and Support Team.

• Project Management experience is essential.

• Ability to effectively communicate in meetings with all levels of management and stakeholders.

• Familiarity with goal-setting frameworks such as Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).

• Experience working with open-source software components like Tomcat, BIRT, and commercial middleware such as MS SQL and Oracle databases on Windows Operating Systems.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Willingness to travel internationally.

• PMI Certification.

• Additional IT certifications are a plus.
