• Develop and execute a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy aimed at identifying and recruiting professionals at every career stage.
• Construct, organize, and lead a high-performing recruiting team, providing guidance on full-cycle recruitment strategies, staffing best practices, systems, and technology.
• Create an effective organizational framework for Talent Acquisition and cultivate top-tier recruiting talent.
• Enhance Lovet’s visibility and reputation in key recruiting markets, establishing our position as the employer of choice ahead of competitors.
• Act as a strategic partner to leadership, collaborating to enhance talent attraction, networking, and diversity & inclusion initiatives.
• Develop, implement, and report on metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of programs, initiatives, and team performance in alignment with enterprise goals.
• Identify, implement, and oversee staffing best practices to enhance efficiency and quality while minimizing costs and time-to-fill.
• Supervise the use of assessment tools throughout the hiring process.
• Collaborate with the broader TAG community to utilize Centers of Excellence and peer expertise.
• Work with business leaders to design and implement staffing plans that optimize the balance of internal and external hiring.
• Establish relationships with external thought leaders within the Talent Acquisition field.
• Lead and innovate the graduate hiring strategy, establishing Lovet as the top destination for veterinary students.
• Assess and enhance existing processes, policies, and procedures to promote continuous improvement.
• Create and provide training programs for hiring managers, recruiters, and candidates to enhance hiring effectiveness and reduce turnover.
• Represent the brand as an ambassador at both in-person and virtual events.
• Develop and maintain strong talent pipelines to ensure long-term hiring success.
• Scale the Talent Acquisition function to support phases of hyper-growth.
• Utilize modern recruiting marketing methodologies to engage talent in their native environments and stimulate top-of-funnel activity.
• Proven track record in leading a recruitment function and managing a diverse team within a multi-site organization (experience in animal or human healthcare is highly preferred).
• Experience in recruiting through industry and academic relations.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to measure performance and communicate progress through relevant metrics.
• Extensive knowledge of Talent Acquisition tools and systems, including experience with system implementations and development roadmaps.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with leaders at all levels, delivering exceptional service and fostering strong client relationships.
• Flexible and adaptable, excelling in a fast-paced, hyper-growth, or start-up environment.
• Experienced in establishing scalable Talent Acquisition frameworks to support rapid expansion.
• Innovative and creative in recruiting strategies, with a strong desire to experiment with new sourcing and engagement techniques.
