This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +4 more states.
• Perform thorough benchmarking of SPRM best practices within CRE, IFM, and related industries, pinpointing top-tier methodologies for the design of preferred supplier program performance scorecards and governance of relationships.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive multi-year strategy for SPRM across regional and operational divisions.
• Effectively establish a globally unified SPRM program, minimizing regional inconsistencies, bridging category ownership gaps, and enhancing consistent supplier performance along with client value delivery.
• Lead enterprise-wide change management efforts, fostering high stakeholder engagement, swift adoption of new processes, and promoting a culture of ongoing improvement.
• Serve as the organization’s foremost authority on supplier performance methodologies and value-centric supplier management.
• Design and implement a governance framework across various business lines and regions for SPRM; integrate supplier inclusion for impact, responsible sourcing, and regulatory compliance within the SPRM structure.
• Provide field and regional teams with practical playbooks, training, templates, and decision-support instruments to improve daily supplier management; influence the entire supplier performance and relationship management ecosystem to achieve desired SPRM results.
• Work collaboratively with category leaders to analyze supplier performance trends and pinpoint opportunities to elevate strategic partners to preferred status or address underperformance within the preferred supplier network.
• A Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline is essential; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• Over 10 years of experience in global Procurement, Vendor Management, and Supplier Relationship Management.
• A profound understanding of indirect procurement, with category expertise in IFM / facilities management, professional services, and technology preferred; experience in the commercial real estate, facilities management, or real estate services industry is a significant advantage.
• At least 5 years in a senior leadership role overseeing SPRM-related programs or functions.
• Proven leadership capabilities in procurement or a history of spearheading large-scale transformation initiatives.
• Demonstrated proficiency in modernizing functions via technology integration, process re-engineering, and extensive team development, ideally in a global, complex, multi-category setting.
• Comprehensive knowledge of supplier governance frameworks, scorecards, strategic business reviews, and the development of preferred supplier networks.
• Proven experience in managing supplier relationships at the executive level, including structuring and leading Executive Business Reviews and collaborative business planning processes.
• Strong grasp of supplier risk management principles and their incorporation into procurement governance — experience working alongside or within a Risk or Compliance function is highly regarded.
