This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Lead the comprehensive development of Model e's global electric vehicle (EV) strategy extending through 2030, outlining Ford's market positioning, competitive advantages, and the pathway to success.
• Integrate market insights, competitive landscapes, customer feedback, and financial evaluations into strategic decisions that direct enterprise investments and resource distribution.
• Develop and sustain a premier EV knowledge base, transitioning from descriptive analysis to prescriptive, data-informed decision-making that enhances Ford's market standing.
• Supervise strategic planning initiatives at the business unit level, which encompasses portfolio prioritization, investment distribution, and long-term planning.
• Convert high-level strategies into actionable plans by designing and directing execution systems that translate Ford's EV objectives into tangible market results.
• Set clear key performance indicators (KPIs) and accountability measures, ensuring that cross-functional efforts align with strategic timelines.
• Detect operational constraints and implement thorough process enhancements to boost execution speed and effectiveness.
• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performance team of strategy and operations experts, emphasizing the development of leaders rather than merely individual contributors.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, Economics, or a closely related discipline.
• Over 12 years of progressive professional experience in corporate strategy, business operations, or management consulting (or over 10 years with a Master's degree/MBA).
• More than 5 years in senior leadership positions with direct responsibility for enterprise-level strategic results and leading/developing high-performing teams.
• MBA or Master's degree in a technical or business-related field.
• Previous experience in a VP, Director, or Principal-level role within a leading management consulting firm or an internal strategy function at a global automotive, technology, or clean energy enterprise.
• Direct experience managing EV product strategy, EV market entry strategy, or EV business unit P&L at scale, including in international markets.
• Demonstrated success in business development, strategic partnerships, or joint ventures/M&A within the EV, battery, or mobility sectors.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, with a proven capacity to simplify complex information into clear, engaging narratives for executive stakeholders.
