Director, Strategy – Academic/Research

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with leaders from various business units to define essential strategic inquiries

• Develop and propose strategic options, priorities, and necessary compromises

• Convert authorized strategies into comprehensive multi-year and annual plans

• Assist in the creation and evaluation of business cases and investment propositions

• Ensure consistency with enterprise planning timelines, capital constraints, and governance protocols

• Identify cross-business dependencies, potential risks, and sequencing issues

• Work alongside other BU-aligned Strategy Directors and the ACSO

• Maintain a broad enterprise perspective while collaborating closely with BU leadership

• Establish key analytical and insight-driven questions to guide strategic decisions

• Collaborate with Strategic Insights to convert analysis into actionable decision-making options

• Perform independent future analyses to remain proactive regarding environmental opportunities

• Provide direct strategic assistance for key enterprise initiatives

• Enhance BU capabilities through shared resources, templates, and decision-making frameworks

• Assist in regular strategic performance evaluations

• Facilitate executive strategy sessions and cross-functional forums

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree (Required)

• At least 5 years of managerial or supervisory experience (Required)

• Minimum of 7 years of relevant work experience (Required)
