• Define, Measure, and Optimize Unit Economics: Collaborate with Actuarial, Growth, and Operations teams to cultivate a comprehensive understanding of unit economics. You will define and monitor multi-year cohort and plan-level perspectives, while primarily focusing on optimizing unit costs and growth drivers.
• Lead Planning and Forecasting: Work alongside leadership, actuarial, and operations teams to create annual plans and quarterly forecasts.
• Drive the Business “Rhythm”: Collaborate with leadership to consistently review core reporting and the progress of initiatives. You will utilize the monthly close process to ensure alignment with the budget and maintain thorough scrutiny of ROI for all operational activities. Most importantly, you will ensure that insights translate into actionable outcomes.
• Evaluate Strategic Projects: Analyze the value of high-impact programs. Once capital is allocated, you will monitor these initiatives to guarantee they deliver the anticipated value.
• Financial Expertise: You bring over 10 years of progressive finance leadership experience, particularly within healthcare, payer, or insurance sectors.
• Industry Knowledge: You have extensive experience with Medicare Advantage.
• Strategic Thinking: You are adept at connecting complex actuarial data to operational results and have a background in enhancing unit economics and capital allocation.
• Executive Presence: You possess a proven history as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, capable of influencing strategy through data-driven narratives and stringent financial discipline.
