This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Lead financial analysis and provide decision support for enterprise transformation projects and other strategic priorities.
• Collaborate with the VP of FP&A and senior leadership to evaluate opportunities that promote growth, enhance returns, and reinforce capital discipline.
• Ensure that initiatives are backed by sound financial reasoning, realistic assumptions, and quantifiable performance expectations.
• Take ownership of the financial modeling, foundational assumptions, and business logic that underpin transformation initiatives across the organization, utilizing broader FP&A department subject matter expertise.
• Develop and sustain business cases, scenario analyses, sensitivity models, and reforecasting frameworks as initiatives progress.
• Evaluate risks, dependencies, and trade-offs to facilitate informed decision-making and timely adjustments.
• Serve as a vital finance partner to business leaders, operations teams, and FP&A subject matter experts to ensure that broader considerations and action plans are in sync with financial objectives.
• Enable constructive discussions among senior leadership by introducing structure, clarity, and analytical precision to complex issues.
• Deliver clear, executive-ready reporting and insights regarding initiative performance, evolving assumptions, and financial ramifications.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related discipline is required; an MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.
• Over 8 years of progressive experience in FP&A, strategic finance, corporate finance, management consulting, transformation, or similar analytical roles.
• Exceptional financial modeling capabilities, including scenario analysis, sensitivity analysis, forecasting, and business case development.
• Proven ability to engage effectively with senior executives and cross-functional leaders on critical strategic and operational matters.
• Strong business acumen and comfort in navigating broad assumptions, incomplete information, and shifting priorities.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities, including the capacity to articulate complex topics in clear, practical terms.
• Demonstrated capability to influence across functions without relying solely on formal authority.
• Experience collaborating on technology-related investments, enterprise initiatives, or cross-functional transformation projects is preferred.
• Experience in leading or mentoring analysts and producing high-quality analytical work in a demanding environment is preferred.
• A background in consulting, in-house strategic finance, or a blend of both can lead to success in this role, provided the candidate possesses exceptional modeling expertise and stakeholder influence.
