Director, Strategic Engagement, Life Sciences

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Oversee a team of 4-5 strategic engagement leads while managing 1-2 accounts in a player-coach capacity.

• Act as an efficient scaler, delivering real-time support to your direct reports for their account portfolios and facilitating coaching and career growth.

• Spearhead business-critical functional projects that foster growth and scalability.

• Function as a consultative and strategic advisor, ensuring client success and facilitating the complete acceleration of value within your portfolio.

• Approach with curiosity, thoroughly learning and understanding the objectives and strategies of our customers and how our solutions and products align with those objectives.

• Demonstrate excellence in advanced program management and decision-making, balancing thoughtful analysis with swift execution, prioritizing effectively, and knowing when and how to escalate complex edge cases.

• Impact future lifetime value through increased product adoption, enhanced customer satisfaction, and improved overall health scores.

• Flourish in a dynamic, continuous improvement environment, embracing uncertainties while striving to drive clarity and scalability for both customers and the business.

• Collaborate efficiently with cross-functional partners to uncover insights that shape product and sales strategies for your portfolio accounts.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in healthcare technology and customer-facing roles (required).

• 4+ years of experience within the pharmaceutical industry (preferred).

• Demonstrated ability to cultivate deep, trust-based relationships with customer stakeholders.

• Experienced strategic program and project manager focused on connecting the dots with client value at the forefront.

• Proficient in expanding relationships beyond direct contacts through rapport-building.

• Proven ownership of complex, high-value customer accounts.

• Strategic thinker who identifies cross-customer trends to inform value propositions.

• Effective and empathetic communicator, both internally and externally.

• Previous experience in one or more of the following areas (required):

• Experience within RWD health analytic companies, CROs, or systems integrators in the healthcare sector.

• Application of RWD and RWE in the pharmaceutical and life sciences domains.

• Knowledge of drug development and/or clinical trials.
