This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Engaging in extensive outbound communication with prospects and customers to secure larger deals and generate new opportunities.
• Revenue Generation: Cultivate, realize, and sustain incremental revenue by promoting and endorsing GGS products and services "to," "through," and "with" potential clients within the designated territory and/or assigned accounts.
• Proficient in utilizing CRM software to log all sales activities, manage the sales pipeline, and identify, monitor, and facilitate the closure of significant opportunities.
• Develop and maintain ongoing relationships with multiple contacts within client organizations, effectively leveraging internal resources to ensure seamless delivery of products/services and payment.
• Timely processing of all sales order documentation.
• Swift resolution of customer conflicts.
• Travel within the assigned geographic territory as needed.
• Must reside in a major metropolitan area within the territory.
• Attend trade shows to promote products when necessary, along with participating in internal sales meetings organized by the company.
• Employ a consultative or solutions-oriented approach to selling.
• Familiarity with banking core systems and teller platforms is advantageous.
• A minimum of 15 years of solution-based sales experience is preferred, ideally in non-commoditized solutions.
• Sales experience within the banking industry is mandatory.
• The position necessitates a "hunter mentality" and a proven track record of successfully identifying and engaging decision-makers to drive sales results.
• Candidates must be organized, motivated, and capable of adhering to a structured sales process while passionately developing and executing a sales plan.
• The qualified candidate should be able to provide a solution-based selling approach (rather than just product selling) to C-suite executives.
• Strong skills in account management, closing deals, and negotiating "win-win" outcomes are essential.
• Exceptional business writing and communication abilities are required.
• Proficient in creating, modifying, and delivering impactful PowerPoint presentations at all organizational levels.
• Competency in utilizing Excel and other Microsoft applications effectively.
• Experience in crafting and negotiating successful sales proposals while calculating pricing to achieve gross profit targets.
