This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Act as the primary relationship manager for Root's key enterprise partners, cultivating trusted, long-lasting relationships that foster mutual growth.
• Formulate and implement account strategies that enhance partner value, explore expansion opportunities, and boost long-term revenue.
• Develop, sustain, and proactively oversee a strategic sales pipeline with potential enterprise opportunities surpassing $100M.
• Identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities across sectors including automotive, insurance, financial services, mobility, and related industries.
• Direct executive-level commercial discussions, including negotiations and the execution of contracts for complex enterprise partnerships.
• Assess partnership health through executive business reviews, operational metrics, and growth planning, while proactively discerning risks and expansion opportunities.
• Advocate for the interests of strategic customers internally, shaping product roadmap priorities, operational enhancements, and future commercial offerings.
• Deliver market intelligence, competitive insights, and strategic recommendations to executive leadership to inform Root's enterprise growth strategy.
• Over 10 years of progressive experience in enterprise B2B sales, strategic account management, business development, or enterprise partnerships.
• Proven expertise in managing C-suite relationships with large enterprise clients while consistently identifying and closing new business opportunities.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex, high-velocity sales cycles and enterprise pipelines valued at $100M or greater.
• History of leading cross-functional initiatives from inception to execution, successfully launching intricate enterprise partnerships.
• Strong commercial negotiation skills with a proven track record in structuring, drafting, and executing enterprise agreements in regulated sectors.
• Strategic thinker with a focus on execution and a demonstrated ability to deliver measurable business results in dynamic, collaborative environments.
• Solid understanding of insurance distribution, embedded insurance, automotive retail, fintech, or OEM ecosystems.
• Availability to travel up to 35% of the time (or as necessary) to support partner relationships.
• Comfortable appearing on camera for virtual interviews.
