This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Serve as a representative for Experian in key industry standards organizations that are shaping the future of digital identity, trust, security, privacy, and AI-driven commerce.

• Keep abreast of the latest standards, industry trends, and policy updates that could impact Experian's business and growth strategies.

• Cultivate and influence relationships with standards bodies, industry groups, and strategic ecosystem partners.

• Identify avenues for Experian to influence industry direction through contributions to standards, sharing expertise, and engaging externally.

• Provide guidance to business and technology leaders regarding emerging opportunities, risks, and implications in the areas of identity, trust, fraud prevention, and agentic commerce.

• Formulate recommendations on how Experian should take the lead, influence, partner, or observe industry initiatives.

• Offer executive-level insights and standards intelligence that support strategic decision-making.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in standards ecosystems relevant to identity, privacy, security, or telecommunications; as well as AI.

• Proven experience in engaging with technology-focused standards organizations, industry alliances, consortiums, or policy forums such as the FIDO Alliance, OpenID Foundation, Trust over IP, IETF, W3C, NIST, or similar entities.

• Strong understanding of regulatory, privacy, and security factors that influence digital identity solutions.

• Ability to assess complex technical and business challenges and translate them into actionable recommendations.

• Experience in influencing teams without having direct authority.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

• Willingness to travel up to 50%.
