This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska, +19 more states.
• Execute operational redesigns and formulate business strategies that enhance service levels, operational capabilities, and efficiency.
• Lead and manage staffing needs for Patient Services and Specialty Programs by analyzing trends, forecasting, researching business needs, and evaluating workflows in collaboration with the WFM function.
• Partner with IT leadership to ensure the necessary systems and applications are in place to support fulfillment operations, while continuously assessing all operational systems for functionality, efficiency, and tracking/reporting capabilities.
• Create and implement strategic plans for the operational infrastructure, including systems, processes, and personnel to meet the organization's growth objectives and new service offerings.
• Initiate and execute ongoing operational improvements aimed at enhancing patient care while optimizing the customer experience.
• Work alongside leaders throughout the organization to streamline processes that enhance efficiency, safety, and patient experience.
• Continuously monitor, evaluate, and report pharmacy service KPIs to fellow Pharmacy Managers and Executive Leaders.
• Assist in the development and reporting of ongoing Quality Improvement Projects, actively participating in and contributing to the Quality Oversight Review Committee.
• Research, present, and develop business cases for new technology solutions and/or processes that facilitate more efficient pharmacy fulfillment operations or improve the patient experience.
• Develop and manage a cost-effective, safe, and patient-focused fulfillment strategy across all fulfillment locations, covering fulfillment processes, packaging, shipping, and service delivery and recovery.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Graduate of an ACPE Accredited School of Pharmacy with a B.S. Pharmacy or Pharm.D. degree, along with a current, unrestricted license required.
• Must possess a current resident Pharmacist license with an unrestricted status; ongoing education credits are necessary to maintain active licensure.
• A minimum of five years of experience as a licensed pharmacist is preferred.
• 4 to 5 years of experience in specialty pharmacy is preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
• Experience in managed care and/or PBM is preferred.
