This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as Chief of Staff and a strategic advisor to the Senior Vice President.
• Assist in managing priorities, making decisions, and enhancing impact across the Learning & Assessment departments and related teams.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives from inception to execution.
• Monitor meeting commitments, identify delays, and ensure follow-up.
• Represent the Senior Vice President in internal working groups and discussions.
• Draft, proofread, and edit critical correspondence, emails, and presentations.
• Participate in the Learning & Assessment leadership team and offer guidance.
• Oversee operational infrastructure, schedules, reporting tools, dashboards, and analyses.
• Establish and promote divisional culture and employee engagement.
• Collaborate on annual budgeting and quarterly financial assessments.
• Work together on promotion, compensation, organizational structure, headcount, talent management, and succession planning.
• Organize and lead weekly divisional leadership meetings and quarterly all-divisional gatherings.
• Direct bi-annual in-person meetings and quarterly leadership retreats.
• Support the Senior Vice President’s priorities, team operations, and divisional communications.
• Propel high-priority special projects from uncertainty to execution.
• Cultivate relationships within the College Board to foster organization-wide impact.
• 5–10+ years of professional experience required.
• Several years of experience in a strategic operations role is preferred.
• Experience collaborating closely with a senior executive.
• Bachelor’s degree is necessary.
• Proven record of professional success and leadership.

• Ability to navigate ambiguity, complexity, and rapidly changing priorities.
• Experience managing multiple complex, cross-functional projects at once.
• Strong attention to detail and a thorough understanding of project specifications.

• Proficiency in utilizing data to guide decisions and actions.
• Strong judgment and the ability to engage with, influence, and advise senior leaders.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in facilitating meetings and presenting to groups of 40 or more, both remotely and in person.
• Proven ability to lead effective meetings and ensure follow-up and progress tracking.
• Proficient in using generative AI to streamline workflows, enhance efficiencies, and improve work outputs.
• Willingness to travel 1–2 times per quarter, especially to New York City and Washington, DC.
• Authorization to work in the United States is required.
