This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee client interactions to grasp data requirements and offer guidance on suitable datasets and data model development.
• Collaborate with internal teams to implement new data sources and provide insights on data opportunities and potential partnerships.
• Create data models and align various datasets with candidate-designed frameworks.
• Evaluate the stacking and linking of both similar and diverse datasets.
• Analyze and produce client data dictionaries adhering to best practices.
• Serve as a liaison between clients and internal technical teams regarding data model design and transformation processes.
• Establish internal and external frameworks to evaluate datasets and identify optimal use cases.
• Provide guidance to stakeholders on datasets pertinent to therapeutic areas and analytical solutions.
• Direct dataset validation and evaluation with internal teams, identifying research questions that can be addressed by specific data sources.
• Articulate data strategy and priorities to leadership and internal stakeholders.
• Act as a bridge between external data partners and internal sales, delivery, product, and engineering teams to roll out new data sources.
• Operate in a highly collaborative and matrixed work environment.
• A minimum of 7 years of operational or managerial experience utilizing real-world data, ideally within life sciences and/or healthcare.
• A Master’s degree in a science-related discipline, or an undergraduate engineering degree or higher.
• Analytical expertise with healthcare data, including the acquisition and analysis of clinical and longitudinal patient datasets.
• Proven experience in selecting and applying real-world data to specific research inquiries and therapeutic areas.
• Proficiency in SQL coding is advantageous.
• Capability to develop and oversee processes, operations, and technologies for dataset ingestion and implementation.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Exceptional attention to detail coupled with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Self-motivated with the capacity to lead others; expected to manage project timelines and team members while starting as an individual contributor.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly in interactions with senior executives and clients.
• Willingness to travel as necessary.
