This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee daily monitoring of SAM.gov, GovWin IQ, and USASpending for expiring contracts, new solicitations, and sole-source activities within healthcare staffing.
• Identify contracts held by competitors that are approaching expiration and devise strategies for recompete.
• Assess opportunities in relation to company capabilities, past performance, and vehicle coverage, including 621I.
• Engage with agencies prior to RFP to shape requirements and foster familiarity.
• Conduct meetings with contracting officers, program managers, CORs, and clinical end users.
• Participate in agency industry days, pre-solicitation conferences, procurement events, and pertinent industry gatherings.
• Cultivate trusted-advisor relationships with target agencies.
• Gain an understanding of agency missions, staffing challenges, and procurement cultures.
• Build and sustain relationships with prime contractors that have vehicles available for subcontracting.
• Identify teaming opportunities and present potential partners to leadership for structuring.
• Qualify and brief opportunities to proposal and operations teams.
• Maintain an active, prioritized CRM pipeline, detailing stage, probability, and next actions.
• Provide insights on market intelligence, agency budget trends, incumbent performance, and key personnel movements.
• A minimum of 10 years in business development, showcasing a strong track record of opening new accounts and establishing federal pipelines.
• At least 5 years of experience in healthcare staffing—covering travel nursing, allied health, and/or locum tenens.
• Over 5 years of direct federal business development experience—having engaged with agencies such as VA, DHA, IHS, BOP, etc.
• Established relationships with contracting officers, program managers, or business development teams of prime contractors.
• Familiarity with GSA Schedule 621I.
• Proficient in using SAM.gov, GovWin IQ, and USASpending.gov.
• Experience in correctional healthcare or military treatment facilities is a plus.
