This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the offshore Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) vendor to guarantee prompt billing, collections, and the completion of month-end processes.
• Identify potential risks and compliance issues.
• Provide education to teams regarding new billing guidelines and updates in telehealth and behavioral health practices.
• Work closely with the compliance team to ensure all regulatory requirements are met.
• Develop and enhance reporting for revenue cycle management KPIs.
• Direct the daily operations and priorities of the billing, financial coordination, and financial counseling teams to maintain high employee satisfaction and productivity levels.
• Train and inform team members on revenue cycle management best practices and industry benchmarks to enhance metrics and foster team accountability.
• Lead end-to-end claims revenue cycle transformation projects, including documentation and coding (optimizing current billing codes at Bicycle Health and advising on new codes for VBC and FFS contracts).
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Operations teams to continually introduce automation in our claims billing processes across value-based and fee-for-service contracts, as well as identify and resolve any billing issues.
• Engage with Marketing, Payor Relations, Clinical Ops, Enrollment Coordination, CSS, etc., to strategize and execute upcoming payor launches.
• Manage the entire Revenue Cycle function, establishing new payment structures as our program offerings expand.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle management.
• At least 5 years of supervisory experience.
• Certification in billing or coding is mandatory.
• Proficient in telemedicine billing and coding for SUD/OUD/G Codes.
• Advanced skills in Excel and Google Sheets.
• Demonstrated persistence in interactions with payers.
• Experience collaborating cross-functionally with various teams.
• Proven experience in project managing internal initiatives.
• Solid understanding of industry best practices in Revenue Cycle processes: billing, charge capture, contractual adjustments, third-party reimbursements, and collections and cash management.
• Basic knowledge of revenue integrity (e.g., CPT and ICD-10 coding) and documentation requirements for billing and compliance.
• Comfortable navigating the uncertainties of a fast-paced startup environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail, along with outstanding organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Degree in health administration or a related field is preferred.
• Regular access to a private work environment with high-speed internet and professionally suitable surroundings for frequent video conferencing, along with a workstation setup conducive to remote work requirements.
