This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create and oversee the yearly biopharma engagement strategy, incorporating congress tactics, sponsored symposia, roundtables, executive gatherings, roadshows, and other significant interactions aligned with business development goals.
• Develop and sustain KOL, consortia, and account influence maps; identify key stakeholders and establish customized engagement objectives, messaging, follow-up actions, and success metrics for priority initiatives.
• Act as the main marketing liaison for the Events function and collaborate with Business Development, Medical Affairs, Product, and Commercial Marketing teams to execute high-quality, compliant external programs and partner-facing content.
• Convert scientific data, publications, posters, and market insights into engaging narratives, event materials, and enablement assets that facilitate partner discussions and account advancement.
• Collect and analyze feedback from congresses, advisory boards, customer meetings, and consortia interactions to guide account strategy, campaign briefs, future event allocations, and cross-functional decision-making.
• Oversee external agencies, vendors, budgets, timelines, and post-event evaluations; track KPIs such as meeting volume, stakeholder engagement, pipeline impact, and return on program investment.
• Execute additional responsibilities as assigned.
• A Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, marketing, business, or a related field is mandatory; an advanced degree (MBA, MS, PhD, or PharmD) is preferred.
• A minimum of 8 years of progressively responsible experience in biotech, diagnostics, or pharmaceutical marketing, market development, partnerships, KOL engagement, or similar commercial roles.
• Strong background in oncology is essential; experience in molecular diagnostics, genomics, MRD/ctDNA, precision medicine, or biopharma services is highly preferred.
• Proven track record in leading congress strategies, executive events, advisory boards, KOL engagement programs, or other external stakeholder initiatives within a regulated healthcare setting.
• Experience in translating intricate scientific or clinical information into distinct B2B messages, event programming, and commercial materials.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate across functions with business development, medical affairs, product/clinical teams, legal/compliance, and external vendors.
• Familiarity with account-based marketing, performance measurement, and program ROI tracking is preferred.
• A combination of relevant education and experience may be considered equivalently.
