Director, Retail

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Provide guidance to District Sales Managers and sales representatives in achieving or surpassing client objectives

• Create strategic territory coverage plans and oversee sales activity standards and reporting protocols

• Ensure the distribution of all authorized products from manufacturers

• Act as a key strategic leader in collaboration with the client Regional Director for the East

• Organize and enhance the Retail Sales and Merchandising Organization for the market/team

• Lead, manage, and mentor Retail Sales Managers and Unit Managers to fulfill company and client sales and merchandising goals

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

• 5 years of experience in consumer-packaged goods, including critical account management

• Required experience in Sales, Marketing, Merchandising, and Administration

• Strong office management and time management skills

• Capability to influence others effectively

• Ability to handle multiple demands concurrently

• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, including the capability to deliver presentations

• Demonstrated analytical skills with a keen attention to detail

• Proactive, decisive, creative, and a team player with a strong sense of urgency

• Negotiation skills and the ability to delegate tasks effectively

• Proficient in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel

• Valid driver's license

• Strong leadership, training, and coaching abilities

• Capacity to develop and implement sales strategies, goals, and objectives

• Ability to analyze performance data of team members

• Competence in effectively presenting information to principals, managers, employee teams, and customers
