
Director, Resource Management β Vendor Procurement

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Spearhead the strategy for enterprise resource management β Direct resource planning and enhance capacity visibility for both direct hires and contractor resources to fulfill delivery commitments.
β’ Facilitate demand planning and staffing strategies β Convert pipeline and project requirements into hiring, redeployment, and contractor engagement plans, collaborating closely with Talent Acquisition to recruit direct hires and with external vendors to secure necessary contractor resources.
β’ Oversee vendor procurement and governance β Select, onboard, and manage third-party staffing vendors, addressing commercial terms, service expectations, and performance criteria.
β’ Enhance workforce mix and capacity β Achieve a balance of skill fit, timing, geography, utilization, cost, and delivery quality among internal and external talent pools.
β’ Collaborate across the organization β Partner with Delivery, Sales, HR, Finance, and Legal to enhance staffing readiness, decision-making quality, and operational discipline.
β’ Elevate visibility and reporting β Deliver clear insights into demand, capacity, utilization, vendor performance, and contractor spending to aid business decisions.
β’ Ensure compliant and scalable processes β Assist in establishing effective intake, onboarding, governance, and vendor management processes that mitigate risk and promote growth.
β’ Champion continuous improvement β Leverage data, market insights, and stakeholder feedback to enhance cycle times, supplier quality, cost efficiency, and staffing results.
β’ Over 10 years of experience in resource management, contingent workforce management, vendor procurement, delivery operations, or similar leadership roles.
β’ Proven experience collaborating with third-party staffing vendors and internal Talent Acquisition teams to meet contractor and direct-hire requirements in a services, technology, or consulting setting.
β’ Proven track record of converting business demand into workforce plans, including decisions related to hiring, contracting, and redeployment.
β’ Proficient in negotiating rates, statements of work, and commercial terms for external resources.
β’ Experience working collaboratively across functions with stakeholders including Delivery, Sales, HR, Finance, and Legal.
β’ Preferred experience in operating within complex, multi-region delivery landscapes.
