• Lead the performance of the Research Services business unit, focusing on revenue tracking, forecasting, and margin management in collaboration with leadership.
• Establish and convey a compelling vision for the business unit that aligns with company objectives and adapts to the evolving UX research landscape.
• Create and implement go-to-market strategies aimed at driving profitable growth at scale, prioritizing repeatable, product-led solutions over one-off projects.
• Collaborate with executive leadership on pricing, resource planning, and growth investments, providing regular insights into performance trends and potential risks.
• Act as a trusted strategic advisor to our key clients, managing senior-level relationships and serving as the escalation point when necessary.
• Drive the acquisition of new clients and increase revenue within existing accounts through renewals, upsells, and cross-sell opportunities.
• Guide Account Managers and Sales personnel on long-term account strategies to unlock value at the intersection of UX research and AI.
• Transform client requirements into compelling research solutions and service offerings, employing a creative approach that benefits both the client and the business.
• Work closely with the Director of Enterprise Services to ensure that studies are properly scoped, staffed, and delivered to high standards, allowing you to concentrate on growth.
• Identify emerging trends and opportunities within the UX research domain, positioning Pulse Labs to take advantage of them ahead of the market.
• Lead and develop a dedicated team of Account Managers and Sales professionals within the Research Services sector.
• Establish clear performance expectations, foster a culture of ownership and continuous improvement, and enhance team effectiveness over time.
• Collaborate across functions with Product, Engineering, Design, and Enterprise Services to develop integrated solutions.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Operations, or a related field.
• Over 8 years of experience in general management, operations, or leadership roles in professional services.
• Proven experience managing P&L, budgets, and revenue forecasting.
• Strong background in client services, account management, or professional services.
• Track record of driving revenue growth while ensuring quality and maintaining margins.
• Outstanding communication skills and executive presence.
• Experience in securing new clients within Fortune 500 companies.
• Background in UX research, market research, or software development services.
• Experience in scaling a business or business unit through periods of rapid growth.
• MBA or a relevant advanced degree.
• Experience in international markets.
