This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Direct and manage all facets of renewal operations
• Create and execute strategic initiatives for software renewal management
• Discover revenue enhancement opportunities through renewal optimization and market analysis
• Work in partnership with sales, account management, product, legal, accounting, finance, and client-facing teams
• Assess and improve renewal processes for efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability
• Deploy automation tools and systems to enhance renewal workflows
• Track performance metrics and take corrective measures to meet renewal objectives
• Formulate pricing and discounting strategies to optimize renewal rates and revenue retention
• Examine renewal trends and create forecasts for financial planning and reporting
• Monitor and present Gross Revenue Retention, Net Revenue Retention, renewal timing, renewal forecasting and accuracy, churn, and escalation rates to the ELT and Board
• Offer training and resources to renewal specialists
• Share product feedback and prioritize roadmap initiatives based on client insights
• Inspire, coach, and develop a team of renewal specialists
• Encourage collaboration, innovation, and ongoing improvement
• Execute additional tasks that support the overall goals of the position
• A bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or a related field is required
• Any combination of education and experience that fulfills the required qualifications may be considered
• An MBA or advanced degree is preferred
• Over 8 years of relevant experience
• Familiarity with software renewal management, revenue growth, customer satisfaction, CRM systems, contract management tools, and revenue recognition principles
• Strong leadership, strategic thinking, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build rapport and trust with both internal and external stakeholders
• Capability to lead, inspire, and motivate teams to reach objectives
• Proficiency in interpreting data and market trends for strategic decision-making
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities
