This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.
• Take ownership of the regional P&L, which includes overseeing revenue execution, gross margin performance, controllable operating expenses, and EBITDA contributions.
• Enhance forecast accuracy, improve backlog visibility, and maintain budget discipline; identify potential risks and implement corrective measures to achieve the plan.
• Boost margins through increased labor productivity, disciplined job planning, adherence to schedules, reduced rework, and effective overtime management.
• Spearhead comprehensive regional execution across branches, including weekly operational reviews, performance scorecards, job readiness assessments, and production planning routines.
• Ensure that traveling teams within the region are adequately supported, effectively scheduled, safe, and seamlessly integrated into branch plans.
• Establish and maintain a safety-first operational culture, ensuring compliance with safety programs and regulatory standards.
• Take responsibility for regional quality outcomes for all work conducted in the area, including service outcomes through collaborative partnerships.
• Mentor, coach, and develop branch-level Operations Managers; promote consistent leadership practices across all branches.
• Oversee performance accountability for service coordination within the region (dotted-line influence), including warehousing, fleet management, facilities readiness, and inventory control.
• Ensure disciplined utilization of ERP and operating systems to guarantee accurate labor tracking, job costing, materials usage, receiving, and closeout documentation.
• Manage the regional MOR package, detailing results versus plan, KPI trends, root causes, and corrective actions with assigned owners and deadlines.
• 8–12+ years of progressive leadership experience in multi-site operations within field services, construction, industrial services, or similar settings.
• Proven track record of P&L ownership with demonstrated success in margin and EBITDA enhancement.
• Established leader of leaders, particularly in branch operations and management.
• Strong emphasis on safety leadership; experience in enforcing compliance and fostering a culture of training discipline.
• Background in developing operating cadences, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and performance accountability frameworks.
• Required ERP experience; Acumatica is strongly preferred; knowledge of AP workflow tools (e.g., Stampli) is a plus.
• Executive presence with the ability to present performance metrics and corrective actions in MORs.
