Director, R&D Operational Excellence – Performance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Establish and execute a thorough performance framework for R&D

• Oversee the execution performance of the portfolio

• Conduct structured diagnostics of R&D processes

• Propel continuous improvement initiatives throughout R&D

• Create and standardize end-to-end R&D processes

⛳️ Requirements

• An advanced scientific degree in the life sciences

• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification (mandatory)

• Project Management certification (considered a strong asset)

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in biopharma/biotech R&D

• Demonstrated experience in operational excellence

• Proven success in implementing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma methodologies

• Capability to convert complex operational challenges into actionable strategies
