This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the acquisition, retention, and expansion of railway flagging services nationwide.
• Create precise estimates and formulate detailed project proposals.
• Handle customer pre-qualification processes and ensure adherence to client specifications.
• Track market trends and pinpoint strategic opportunities for sustainable growth.
• Foster and sustain robust relationships with both new and existing clients throughout the United States.
• Align service offerings with customer budgets, timelines, and operational requirements.
• Act as the primary contact for escalating customer issues.
• Direct the planning, scheduling, and execution of all flagging operations across the country.
• Set measurable safety goals and promote continuous improvement through data-driven decision-making.
• Supervise employee auditing programs, proficiency evaluations, and training compliance.
• Lead incident management processes, including root cause analysis and corrective measures.
• Manage and protect division assets, equipment, and resources.
• Ensure precise payroll processing and prompt job-costing approvals.
• Maintain compliance with customer contractual obligations and internal quality standards.
• Oversee the accuracy and timeliness of invoicing as well as documentation requirements.
• Conduct regular audits of safety, quality, and financial processes.
• Guarantee accurate job costing and appropriate allocation of expenses to the P&L.
• Develop and manage project budgets throughout their duration.
• Prepare annual divisional budgets focused on growth and cost efficiency.
• Review monthly P&L performance and provide analyses to leadership.
• Compile and present monthly financial and operational performance reports.
• Perform any additional duties as assigned.
• A Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, construction management, or a related discipline is required.
• Over 10 years of relevant industry experience, including direct management of field operations or railway services.
• Proven track record of successfully leading high-performing teams in safety-critical environments.
• Experience in managing customer relationships and operational delivery across various regions.
• Previous qualifications in RWIC, Operating Rules, and Track Inspection Guidelines.
• Strong comprehension of railway operations, flagging procedures, and relevant FRA regulations.
• Proficient in estimating, bidding, contracting, and managing project finances.
• Advanced computer proficiency, including the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with safety programs, auditing practices, and methodologies for incident investigation.
• Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and customer service capabilities.
• Established leadership skills with experience in motivating and developing teams.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities.
• Capacity to anticipate stakeholder requirements and devise effective solutions.
• Highly organized and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
• Demonstrated professionalism, discretion, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
