
Director, Project Management β Transformation & Execution

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +1 more state.
β’ Oversee intricate, cross-departmental strategic programs and initiatives aimed at fostering growth, enhancing operational excellence, improving productivity, and driving business transformation.
β’ Create and implement detailed project plans, governance frameworks, timelines, resource allocations, and success metrics for essential business initiatives.
β’ Set up program management standards, tools, and reporting systems to enhance visibility, accountability, and execution discipline throughout the organization.
β’ Encourage collaboration among Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Commercial, Finance, and other functional teams to ensure alignment and effective execution.
β’ Track project performance through key performance indicators (KPIs), regularly updating executive leadership on progress, risks, dependencies, and outcomes.
β’ Identify, evaluate, and proactively manage project risks, resource limitations, and competing priorities.
β’ Lead organizational change management efforts to ensure the successful implementation, adoption, and sustainability of new processes, systems, and capabilities.
β’ Create executive communications, project status reports, business cases, and strategic recommendations to aid in decision-making.
β’ Promote accountability for project execution and ensure that initiatives yield measurable operational and financial outcomes.
β’ Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders at all organizational levels to eliminate obstacles and expedite the achievement of strategic goals.
β’ Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or a related discipline.
β’ At least 15 years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing, operations, supply chain, strategy, project management, or business transformation.
β’ Proven experience in leading large-scale, cross-functional strategic initiatives with quantifiable business impact.
β’ Strong expertise in project and program management, encompassing governance, execution, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.
β’ Experience in developing manufacturing footprints, capacity planning, network optimization, or operational strategy initiatives.
β’ In-depth understanding of make-versus-buy methodologies, supply chain strategy, and risk mitigation practices.
β’ Experience in creating capital investment plans, business cases, and strategic operational roadmaps.
β’ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial skills.
β’ Background in building scenario models and assessing strategic business alternatives.
β’ Demonstrated ability to influence and lead within a complex, matrixed organization.
β’ Excellent communication, facilitation, presentation, and executive engagement abilities.
β’ Proven capacity to foster strong partnerships and lead through influence across various functions and organizational levels.
