This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Establish and oversee a centralized PMO function, incorporating frameworks, tools, and standards for project intake, prioritization, execution, and reporting.
• Define and uphold project governance, including stage gates, documentation standards, risk management, and escalation protocols.
• Create and maintain a portfolio overview of all active initiatives, aligned with executive priorities and resource capacity.
• Propel the execution of internal and interdepartmental projects across IT, Network Operations, Customer Experience, Sales, Finance, and HR.
• Collaborate with department leaders to delineate project scope, timelines, dependencies, and success metrics.
• Identify and address cross-functional bottlenecks, ensuring accountability and progress.
• Standardize the definition, tracking, and delivery of "everyday" projects across the organization.
• Develop and oversee integrated program plans and timelines.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and facilitate issue resolution.
• Direct project management for acquisitions, including planning and executing integrations across systems, personnel, and processes.
• Coordinate integration workstreams (e.g., system consolidation, network integration, payroll/HRIS alignment, customer migration, vendor rationalization).
• Ensure close collaboration between technical and operational teams throughout the integration phases.
• Manage vendor relationships as necessary to support program objectives, coordinate deliverables, and resolve issues.
• Assess and implement PM tools and systems to enhance visibility, collaboration, and reporting.
• Continuously improve PMO processes to boost efficiency, scalability, and transparency.
• Foster a culture of disciplined execution without adding unnecessary bureaucracy.
• Collaborate with our Operations team to develop our internal project managers and construction project coordinators, providing guidance and oversight to ensure consistent execution quality across all projects.
• 8–12+ years of experience in project/program management, including leadership of cross-functional initiatives.
• Proven track record in building or leading a PMO within a high-growth or transformation setting.
• Direct experience with managing M&A integrations is strongly preferred.
• Experience in telecom, infrastructure, or similarly complex operational environments is advantageous.
• Strong executive presence with the capability to influence at all organizational levels.
• Demonstrated ability to navigate effectively in ambiguous situations and bring clarity to loosely defined problems.
• Profound understanding of project management methodologies (i.e., Scrum, Agile), with a pragmatic approach to their application.
• Familiarity with PM tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Asana, Monday, Jira, or similar).
• PMP certification is preferred.
