Director, Project Implementation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Oversee the execution of projects aligned with organizational goals.

• Facilitate project planning and execution, promote continuous learning, assess impacts, and ensure strategic integration within Y-USA’s Service Delivery System.

• Collaborate with organizational leadership to refine strategies and align emerging opportunities with priorities and leadership practices.

• Direct the development of implementation processes that encompass deliverables, timelines, inter-departmental engagement, collaboration, and escalation of opportunities and risks.

• Identify, integrate, and leverage project insights to improve YMCA experiences and support implementation across the network.

• Lead cross-functional teams comprising staff and contractors.

• Supervise staff tasked with facilitating direct YMCA cohorts.

• Work in partnership with Y-USA teams and external stakeholders to ensure successful implementation, provide support to Ys, and fulfill grant-related deliverables and reporting requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field such as Business or similar disciplines is required.

• A minimum of 8–12 years of relevant experience is required.

• Demonstrated expert functional skills.

• Advanced knowledge and experience within the industry.

• Strong managerial skills at an advanced level.

• Capability to oversee multiple teams or functions.

• Authority in strategic and operational decision-making.

• Competence to perform highly complex managerial tasks with minimal oversight.
