Director – Product Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Translate Granicus’s 3–5 year vision into a clear, actionable product roadmap that aligns with business objectives, customer expectations, and financial results.

• Manage, mentor, and develop a team of Product Managers, nurturing a culture of ownership, innovation, continuous improvement, and effective utilization of AI in product discovery, delivery, and decision-making.

• Prioritize initiatives based on their business impact, customer value, and technical feasibility.

• Champion user-centric design and data-driven decision-making.

• Collaborate with Engineering, Design, Implementation, Support, Customer Success, and Sales to ensure smooth product delivery and market execution.

• Establish and enhance product management processes, tools, and best practices to scale product development efficiently.

• Represent Granicus as a product evangelist both internally and externally, conveying our vision and value proposition to stakeholders and customers, and assisting in shaping how AI can responsibly accelerate product strategy, execution, and customer impact.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in product management, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership capacity.

• Proven track record of managing and scaling product teams in an Agile setting.

• A servant-leader approach with experience in coaching and developing high-performing teams.

• Ability to connect market trends, customer needs, and business goals to create compelling product strategies.

• Proficient in breaking down complex challenges into clear, actionable plans.

• Outstanding communicator capable of influencing all organizational levels, from engineers to executives.

• Demonstrated capability to lead AI adoption within product teams, including coaching Product Managers on the effective use of AI tools for research, prioritization, writing, experimentation, and team productivity.

• Proven ability to drive product success and profitability through strategic planning and execution.

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Math) or equivalent experience. An MBA is a plus.

• Experience in a private equity-backed environment is a strong advantage.

• Preferred: experience in Agenda Management, Video Streaming, and Records Request markets for SaaS products.
