📋 Description

• In the role of Director on the Grafana Labs Product Management team, you will craft the vision and strategy for a comprehensive product domain, ensuring that multiple teams are aligned with clear priorities and that product decisions drive customer outcomes and meet Grafana Labs’ business goals.

• You will be responsible for the roadmap, gaining in-depth insights into customers and the market, and articulating product direction, tradeoffs, and results to customers, senior leadership, and cross-functional partners in a transparent manner.

• This role encompasses shaping the product narrative and positioning, supporting launches and field enablement, as well as assisting in defining pricing and packaging models that communicate the value customers receive while allowing Grafana Labs to capture that value in an understandable and acceptable manner.

• Additionally, you will contribute to defining the evolution of this domain in an AI-first environment, evaluating how AI can empower customers to enhance instrumentation, optimize telemetry volume and quality, resolve collection issues, query more efficiently, and engage with Grafana Cloud through both user-facing and agent-facing experiences.

• You will lead a team of Product Managers, guiding them in establishing clear strategies, making sound prioritization choices, collaborating effectively with their cross-functional partners, and advancing in their professional journeys.

• Exceptional customer empathy and strategic acumen, with the ability to translate intricate customer challenges into clear product strategies, roadmap priorities, and tradeoff decisions.

• Strong cross-functional leadership and communication capabilities, with experience in influencing Engineering, Design, Technical Writing, Developer Advocacy, Analytics, Product Marketing, GTM, and executive stakeholders.

• The ability to establish clarity amid ambiguity, assist teams in making progress without overly prescriptive solutions, and function effectively in a globally distributed, remote-first environment.
