Director, Product

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead, mentor, and nurture product managers and strategists within the team; conduct performance evaluations, support career advancement, and cultivate a culture centered on ownership, accountability, and transparency.

• Advocate for AI-enhanced product development methodologies throughout the team: from utilizing AI tools to expedite discovery and synthesis, to incorporating AI-assisted workflows within the product development lifecycle and client delivery.

• Assist Livefront’s growth team in acquiring new clients by contributing to proposals, scoping initiatives, and offering subject matter expertise.

• Establish and maintain standards for product strategy, project execution, and client experience, ensuring consistent application of these standards across all engagements.

• Collaborate with engineering and design to thoughtfully integrate AI capabilities into both the products we create and the processes through which we create them.

• Cultivate a culture of experimentation within the product practice, instilling a mindset of continuous learning in the team and equipping them with the necessary tools and methodologies to implement it.

• Assist Livefront in enhancing and evolving its product-related offerings, including product leadership consulting.

• Serve in a product manager, strategist, or consultant role as an individual contributor when necessary.

• Collaborate with the broader product team to continuously refine processes and facilitate the adoption of these improvements across the team and client projects.

• Actively engage in recruitment efforts: interview candidates, assess technical and strategic capabilities, and help build a team equipped to excel in an AI-accelerated product landscape.

• Work in conjunction with the VP of Product Management and other senior leaders on all aforementioned responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 10-15 years of product management experience, preferably in a consulting environment or as part of an in-house, cross-functional product team.

• Proven experience in leading product teams - teaching, mentoring, and creating conditions that enable individuals to perform at their best.

• Knowledge of AI's impact on modern product development: from AI-assisted research and synthesis to the development of AI-powered features and assessing model outputs for real-world reliability.

• A strong desire to integrate AI tools into team workflows—whether for speeding up discovery, automating repetitive PM tasks, enhancing prototyping speed, or deriving insights from data.

• Experience in building consumer-facing native mobile and web applications, with a thorough understanding of product management processes and tools.

• Demonstrated ability to guide clients toward innovative, impactful solutions and communicate complex trade-offs clearly.

• Strong strategic planning capabilities: the ability to assess past team performance, identify remaining tasks, and motivate timely and budget-conscious delivery.

• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convincingly defend strategic decisions, even to skeptical or non-technical audiences.

• Renowned problem-solving abilities, above-average personal discipline and organization, and a strong desire for personal growth.
