This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +4 more states.
• Develop and execute governance frameworks, operating models, and prioritization systems to manage an expanding portfolio of continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure PPI activities align with organizational priorities and strategic goals.
• Direct the integration of PPI methodologies into essential workflows to enhance efficiency, quality, scalability, and overall business performance.
• Manage a portfolio of initiatives while offering direct program and project management support for complex or high-impact projects.
• Create standards, tools, performance metrics, and reporting systems to boost visibility, accountability, and sustainability of improvements.
• Advocate for Practical Process Improvement, Lean, Six Sigma, and other relevant methodologies throughout the organization.
• Propel organizational change by coaching leaders and teams, building continuous improvement capabilities, and nurturing a culture of operational excellence.
• Ensure initiatives are correctly prioritized, resourced, executed, and assessed to achieve meaningful and measurable results.
• Enhance cross-functional collaboration and alignment in complex, matrixed environments.
• Assist with implementation activities that may require travel up to 50%.
• Advanced degree with 6+ years of pertinent experience, or a bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of experience in operations, biopharmaceuticals, clinical development, or a related field.
• Proven experience operating at the Director level, balancing strategic leadership with hands-on execution in intricate, cross-functional settings.
• Strong proficiency in Practical Process Improvement (PPI), Lean Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies with a demonstrated history of delivering measurable outcomes.
• Established capability to lead and execute complex initiatives, including the development of governance frameworks, operating models, and scalable processes.
• Robust program and project management abilities, including portfolio prioritization, execution, and delivery across multiple simultaneous initiatives.
• Experience in matrixed organizations with the capacity to influence senior stakeholders, drive alignment, and mentor and develop teams.
• Solid business and financial insight with the ability to align initiatives with organizational goals and value drivers.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and influencing skills, employing a structured, data-driven approach to problem-solving.
• Demonstrated capability to manage competing priorities and navigate ambiguity in a dynamic environment.
• Proficiency in project management and process improvement tools.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.
• Certification in Lean, Six Sigma (Green Belt, Black Belt, or equivalent) is preferred.
• Experience in building or scaling continuous improvement programs within a global organization is preferred.
• Familiarity with GMP, GLP, ISO, and other relevant quality standards is preferred.
