This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Direct the comprehensive Power BI strategy, governance framework, platform roadmap, and enterprise standards.
• Collaborate with IT, Infrastructure, Security, Data Engineering, and Database Administration teams to enhance the Power BI environment.
• Supervise the administration and optimization of the Microsoft Power BI Service, including tenant configurations, governance, scalability, availability, and security.
• Develop and manage Power BI licensing strategies while monitoring utilization, capacity, and cost efficiency.
• Establish scalable data architecture and modeling standards.
• Convert revenue cycle business requirements into effective reporting and analytics solutions.
• Design and create intricate Power BI reports, dashboards, semantic models, DAX calculations, and measures.
• Work with data teams and analysts to acquire, cleanse, transform, and validate data.
• Generate recurring daily, weekly, and monthly reports, dashboards, and ad-hoc analyses.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of client-specific revenue cycle data and requirements.
• Ensure adherence to data security, HIPAA regulations, governance, and organizational best practices.
• Diagnose Power BI, reporting, data, and performance issues.
• Compile client-facing reports and convey findings and solutions to stakeholders.
• Offer Power BI training, guidance, and continuous end-user support.
• Remain up-to-date with Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, data analytics, and visualization capabilities.
• Handle, protect, and disclose patients’ PHI in compliance with HIPAA standards.
• Adhere to Information Security and HIPAA policies and procedures.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data analytics, or related fields is required.
• 5-7 years of experience or equivalent in a revenue cycle analytics role within the healthcare sector.
• Over 2 years of experience in managing and mentoring a team of direct reports.
• Expertise in Power BI development, including the creation of reports and dashboards.
• Strong grasp of data modeling and data visualization principles.
• Proficient in SQL for data manipulation and extraction.
• Knowledge of Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) for developing calculations.
• Familiarity with data warehouse concepts.
• Experience in collaborating with customer support and managing client issue resolution.
• Comprehensive understanding of best practices for efficiently handling large data sets.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are essential.
