Director, Platforms & Infrastructure – Autonomous Mission Infrastructure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Articulate and promote the technical vision for self-healing networks and agentic operations.

• Partner with engineers to create a cohesive platform substrate.

• Spearhead AI and agentic automation throughout all layers of the infrastructure stack.

• Serve as the technical representative for senior DoD, IC, and Federal clients.

• Build and nurture a team of multi-disciplinary engineers focused on infrastructure innovations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 12 years of experience in building and managing large-scale enterprise infrastructure.

• More than 8 years of practical experience in platform engineering.

• At least 3 years of leadership experience in integrating AI and agentic automation into infrastructure operations.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in IL5/IL6 environments.

• Extensive knowledge of NIST 800-53, FedRAMP, and FISMA standards.

• Proven track record in hiring, developing, and retaining senior platform engineers.
