This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +4 more states.
• Lead strategic initiatives, cultivate outstanding teams, and influence the growth and enhancement of Affirm’s platform partnerships.
• Define the vision and strategy for Account Management across a diverse portfolio of platform partners, ensuring that team objectives align with company and commercial goals.
• Build and nurture a high-performing organization by guiding team members, fostering accountability, ensuring strategic alignment, and executing scalable operations throughout the portfolio.
• Enhance portfolio performance by focusing on retention, growth, product adoption, operational efficiency, and long-term partnership value.
• Tackle complex and ambiguous business challenges while balancing partner requirements, operational realities, and Affirm’s long-term strategic objectives.
• Cultivate trusted relationships with executive stakeholders at key partner organizations, acting as a senior strategic advisor on complex decisions, escalations, portfolio prioritization, and operational execution.
• Shape the broader commercial strategy and organizational priorities by leveraging insights from platform partnerships, portfolio trends, and market dynamics.
• Create scalable operational models, business rhythms, and performance frameworks that enhance organizational efficiency and customer experience.
• Collaborate across functions with leaders in Product, Sales, Marketing, Analytics, Risk, Finance, and Operations to achieve merchant and business outcomes on a large scale.
• 12+ years of experience in account management, strategic partnerships, customer success, business development, consulting, or other related commercial leadership positions.
• Proven experience in influencing organizational strategy, operating models, and cross-functional decision-making within multi-layered customer-facing organizations in high-growth or complex settings.
• Demonstrated capability to foster alignment among cross-functional teams while managing competing priorities with clarity and empathy.
• Established ability to shape strategy, influence senior stakeholders, and achieve measurable business results across large enterprise partnerships.
• Strong business acumen and analytical skills, with a track record of resolving complex, undefined challenges and making long-term impactful decisions.
• Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities, including experience engaging with executives, negotiating priorities, and influencing without direct authority.
• Experience in fintech, platforms, payments, commerce, SaaS, or other technology-driven sectors is preferred.
