Director, Performance Marketing – m/f/d

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

• Take ownership of and expand our performance marketing channels to enhance profitable customer acquisition.

• Evaluate the current configurations across paid social and paid search platforms.

• Discover new audiences through innovative strategies, thorough planning, and exceptional execution.

• Foster creative excellence and refine message-market alignment throughout the entire customer journey.

• Build and lead a high-performing in-house performance team while overseeing external agencies.

• Propel growth by systematically experimenting with new performance marketing channels.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to synchronize roadmaps and maximize business impact.

• Stay informed on platform advancements, algorithm modifications, and industry best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in performance marketing with a demonstrated history of scaling e-commerce brands through direct-response marketing and full-funnel growth.

• Proven experience in creating in-house performance teams, featuring robust, diverse, and high-velocity creative workflows.

• Strong analytical abilities combined with customer-focused thinking and marketing/sales instincts to pinpoint opportunities and obstacles.

• Ownership mentality: you drive execution through organized planning, testing, iteration, and learning with your team and stakeholders.

• Profound understanding of customer needs, messaging, and value propositions.

• Current knowledge of platform advancements, algorithm modifications, new tools and trends, and channel-specific growth strategies.
