Director, Payment Innovation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.

📋 Description

• Oversee and facilitate the design, development, and implementation of value-based purchasing (VBP) and payment innovation initiatives throughout Centene.

• Actively contribute to meeting objectives and performance metrics associated with payment innovation.

• Create and refine the technical design of value-based purchasing models and conduct annual updates.

• Foster the generation of new concepts and products to address evolving customer needs.

• Establish performance management and tracking processes/tools for value-based purchasing.

• Spearhead the development and utilization of value proposition materials and collateral, collaborating with stakeholders.

• Guide and assist in value-based purchasing training and coaching across Centene, including within Markets and Product divisions.

• Comprehend state requirements and needs to aid in the preparation of requests for proposals (RFPs) and re-procurement responses for Medicaid.

• Offer technical guidance and support to IT and Analytics teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience in Health Care Administration, Policy, Provider Engagement, or a related discipline.

• A Bachelor's degree in Health Care Administration, Policy, Provider Engagement, or a related field is required, or equivalent professional experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.

• An MBA, MHA, or another advanced degree is preferred.
