This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and establish the operational strategy and long-term roadmap for the TMS Business Unit, ensuring alignment with enterprise objectives.
• Oversee annual and multi-year strategic planning processes, guaranteeing clear priorities, investment focus, and measurable results.
• Act as a primary advisor to the Business Unit and senior executive leadership, influencing business direction, growth strategies, and transformation agendas.
• Manage the assessment and prioritization of strategic investments, which include business development, partnerships, and M&A opportunities.
• Provide forward-looking insights at the enterprise level regarding performance, market dynamics, and competitive positioning.
• Lead and manage the comprehensive strategic initiative portfolio, ensuring alignment with enterprise goals and the delivery of measurable business value.
• Establish and uphold governance frameworks, decision rights, and operational rhythms across various initiatives.
• Facilitate prioritization, trade-off decisions, and resource allocation among competing initiatives at the Business Unit level.
• Ensure clear accountability, diligent execution, and value realization across all strategic initiatives.
• Deliver regular executive-level reports and insights on portfolio performance, risks, and opportunities.
• Serve as a trusted advisor and thought leader to executive management, shaping high-impact decisions.
• Conduct executive forums and decision-making processes, ensuring alignment, clarity, and timely results.
• Provide insight-driven recommendations backed by thorough analysis and financial assessment.
• Influence decisions among enterprise stakeholders, fostering alignment in complex and ambiguous scenarios.
• Lead large-scale cross-functional alignment, collaborating with leaders across Development, Sales, Finance, IT, and other departments.
• Promote enterprise-wide collaboration to ensure cohesive strategy execution.
• Address complex interdependencies and organizational obstacles, ensuring continuous progress on critical initiatives.
• Cultivate strong, trusted relationships with senior leaders throughout the organization.
• Define and institutionalize top-tier frameworks, tools, and operating models for strategy execution and portfolio management.
• Drive continuous improvement and transformation initiatives to boost scalability, efficiency, and performance.
• Build and manage high-performing teams (either directly or through influence), enhancing strategic, analytical, and execution capabilities.
• Foster a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous improvement within the Business Unit.
• Act as a mentor and leader of leaders, enhancing organizational capability.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Life Sciences, or a related field is required. A Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Operations, or Health Management is preferred.
• A minimum of 12 years of experience in analytical, strategy, operations, project management, or business improvement roles is required.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed environment with cross-functional and cross-BU stakeholders.
• Proven experience in managing multiple complex initiatives and guiding work across cross-functional resources.
• Strong analytical and financial acumen, including proficiency in MS Office to synthesize quantitative and qualitative inputs into executive-level recommendations.
• Experience in conducting primary and secondary research, data analysis, and documentation to support business cases, operational enhancements, and decision-making.
• Demonstrated ability to operate with minimal direction, navigate ambiguity, and influence outcomes through structured thinking and collaboration.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, or MedTech industries is preferred.
• Management Consulting, Investment Banking, Private Equity/Venture Capital, or internal advisory experience is a plus.
