Director, Operational Resilience

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.

📋 Description

• Drive initiatives to design, evaluate, prepare for, educate, and respond to continuity and resilience events.

• Oversee specific lines of business, taking into account unique geopolitical circumstances.

• Create and implement tools and training designed for a global audience.

• Perform second-line risk assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of resilience capabilities.

• Assist senior business leaders in aligning resources with priorities during crisis responses.

• Provide guidance to department managers and the wider organization on hiring, training, and performance management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Risk Management, or a related field with equivalent experience.

• Over 5 years of experience in Business Continuity or resilience within an insurance, reinsurance, or global financial services setting.

• More than 5 years of risk management experience is preferred.

• At least 10 years of overall experience in Operational Resilience or Business Continuity is preferred.

• Proficient in using business continuity and emergency notification tools.

• Strong project management capabilities.

• Highly proficient in people management skills.

• Excellent investigative, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
