Director – Oil, Gas & Chemicals Clients

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Act as the subject matter expert for technical services catered to Oil, Gas & Chemical (OGC) clients.

• Offer technical expertise and direction to project teams assisting OGC clients.

• Carry out billable project tasks as a senior technical resource in client engagements.

• Serve as a reliable technical expert for insights on intricate OGC and OT/ICS-related topics.

• Guide, assess, and enhance the technical contributions of team members.

• Ensure appropriate technical resources are allocated to suitable projects.

• Adopt a solution-focused mindset to enhance effectiveness and efficiency.

• Take the lead as the technical expert for clients on designated projects.

• Manage assigned client relationships to guarantee satisfaction with services.

• Establish and maintain connections with essential client decision-makers.

• Stay actively informed about technical, business, and management trends.

• Engage proactively with clients to grasp their business priorities.

• Utilize knowledge of services, client environments, and OGC market demands.

• Represent ABS Group in advocating for OGC-focused products and services.

• Collaborate closely with sales teams to discover business opportunities.

• Contribute to marketing and business development efforts.

• Take part in marketing initiatives and the creation of technical whitepapers.

• Mentor others on the application of technical expertise.

• Provide thought leadership and technical insight.

• Actively participate in networking activities.

• Function as a mentor and coach to team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess an advanced degree or a bachelor's degree, or equivalent work-related experience and industry presence.

• Have 15+ years of pertinent professional experience.

• Hold at least one relevant security certification such as CISSP, CISM, or similar.

• Relevant technical certifications are mandatory.

• Regular travel (50%+) to client sites and project locations is an essential aspect of the role.
