This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Formulate and implement the wholesale growth strategy for the company across the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom, with a primary emphasis on the U.S. market.
• Discover, negotiate, and secure new wholesale opportunities with national, regional, and specialty retail partners throughout North America and the United Kingdom.
• Cultivate and enhance relationships with key retail accounts, distributors, and strategic partners in designated markets.
• Supervise wholesale forecasting, inventory planning, and Open-to-Buy (OTB) management to optimize profitability and reduce inventory risks across all wholesale channels.
• Evaluate retail performance metrics, sell-through rates, profit margins, inventory levels, and market trends to guide strategic business choices.
• Direct account negotiations, pricing strategies, promotional planning, and commercial discussions with retail partners.
• Collaborate intimately with Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and Marketing teams to ensure the smooth execution of wholesale initiatives across various regions.
• Manage retailer compliance obligations, vendor onboarding, EDI integrations, and vendor portal operations with wholesale partners in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom, ensuring operational excellence and compliance with retailer standards.
• Keep abreast of industry trends, competitor actions, and new opportunities in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom to pinpoint areas for expansion.
• Develop scalable wholesale processes, frameworks, and operational standards that facilitate long-term international growth.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in wholesale sales, retail partnerships, business development, or comparable leadership roles.
• Proven track record of increasing wholesale revenue for a consumer brand in the U.S. market.
• Strong omnichannel retail experience, with insights into both direct-to-consumer (DTC) and brick-and-mortar retail settings.
• Demonstrated proficiency in margin management, retail mathematics, forecasting, and Open-to-Buy (OTB) planning.
• Experience in managing significant retail accounts and wholesale collaborations.
• Strong negotiation and relationship management capabilities.
• Familiarity with vendor portals, EDI systems, retailer compliance standards, and wholesale operations.
• Exceptional analytical, financial, and strategic planning skills.
• Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
